financing a new sportster or harley?

How did you finance your ride. What was all the add ons and the payments. And the only close to the same price japanese bike i could get is on a yamaha with my discount at work, but none that i want. What do you think?
I have to say that is a good price for a new H-D. While I am not a fan of Harleys, the price is hard to pass up. Along with the good info posted by jetdoc, check your local bank, savings and loans, and credit unions. Many credit unions have open membership. Rates and repayment options may be better at a credit union. One tip I would like to pass along. Our last loan was a home equity loan. Say the amount was $400 per month. Credit Union did not care how I payed the $400 each month, just as long as it was payed. I received a weekly paycheck. I put $100 toward loan every week. I shortened the term of the loan by about a year. I payed into principal each week which caused a re-calculation of my loan. Shortened my loan and saved me money.
